Upload the plugin to your blog and activate 2. Configure the plugin settings as desired 3. Enable theme switcher via settings or shortcode [More info on installing WP plugins](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/manage-plugins/#installing-plugins-1) **Settings** Out of the box, Disable Gutenberg makes your WordPress 100% Gutenberg-free. If you visit the settings page, you will see that the "Complete Disable" option is enabled, and so is the "Disable Nag" option. This is all that is required to disable Gutenberg (and the nag) sitewide. Now, if you want to customize things and, say, only disable Gutenberg on specific post types, you can uncheck that first "Complete Disable" option. When you uncheck the box, more options will be displayed. So you can choose exactly where Gutenberg should be disabled. **Whitelist** In some cases, you may want to disable Gutenberg everywhere, but enable only on certain posts. To do this, set the "Complete Disable" option to __enabled__. Then visit the "Whitelist" settings to specify which posts always should open in the Block Editor. **Important** Do not use Disable Gutenberg with other plugins (like the Classic Editor plugin) that also disable or replace Gutenberg. Why? Because it may cause loading of redundant scripts, which may in turn lead to unexpected/untested results. **Hide Menu Option** Disable Gutenberg provides a setting to disable the plugin's menu item. This is useful if you don't want your clients to get curious and start fiddling around. If you enable the option to hide the plugin's menu item, you will need to access the plugin settings page directly. It is located at: `/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=disable-gutenberg` So if WordPress is installed at this URL: `https://example.com/` ..then you would access the plugin settings at: `https://example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=disable-gutenberg` Or, if WordPress is installed in a subdirectory, for example: `https://example.com/wordpress/` ..then you would access the plugin settings at: `https://example.com/wordpress/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=disable-gutenberg` So if you hide the plugin's menu item, you always can access the settings directly. **More Tools** The settings include a "More Tools" link. Clicking it toggles open some advanced options: * Classic Widgets - Restores Classic Widgets * Disable Nag - Disables "Try Gutenberg" nag * Enable Frontend - Enables frontend block stylesheet * Whitelist Options - Displays the whitelist settings * Plugin Menu Item - Hides the Disable Gutenberg menu item * Gutenberg Menu Item - Hides the Gutenberg plugin menu item (for WP less than 5.0) * Display Edit Links - Displays "Add New (Classic)" menu links and Classic/Block edit links * ACF Support - Enables the Custom Fields Meta Box (ACF plugin disables by default) * Reset Options - Restores the default plugin options If there are any questions about these items or anything else, feel free to [contact me directly](https://plugin-planet.com/support/#contact) or post in the [WP Support Forums](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/disable-gutenberg/). **Uninstalling** This plugin cleans up after itself. All plugin settings will be removed from the WordPress database when the plugin is deleted via the WP Plugins screen. **Going Further** For developers wanting to customize further, check out: * [How to Disable Gutenberg: Complete Guide](https://digwp.com/2018/04/how-to-disable-gutenberg/) * [How to Selectively Enable Gutenberg Block Editor](https://digwp.com/2018/12/enable-gutenberg-block-editor/) **Show Support** I strive to make this free plugin the very best possible. To show support, please take a moment to leave a [5-star review](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/disable-gutenberg/reviews/?rate=5#new-post) at WordPress.org. Your generous feedback helps to further growth and development of Disable Gutenberg. Thank you! == Upgrade Notice == Visit the WordPress Plugins screen, locate the plugin, and click "Update" :) __Note:__ Deleting this plugin via the WordPress Plugins screen will remove all of its settings from the WordPress database. == Frequently Asked Questions == **Will this work without Gutenberg?** Yes. When Gutenberg is active, the plugin disables it (depending on your selected options) and replaces with the Classic Editor. Otherwise, if Gutenberg is not active (like with older versions of WordPress), the plugin does nothing. So it is safe to activate on any WordPress site. **What's the difference between Classic Editor plugin?** Classic Editor plugin enables you to disable Gutenberg across the board, and replace it with the Classic Editor. The Disable Gutenberg plugin does the exact same thing, in the exact same way, BUT it also provides more granular control over when and where Gutenberg is replaced with the Classic Editor. Disable Gutenberg plugin makes it easy to replace Gutenberg everywhere, OR you can choose to replace only for specific post types, user roles, post IDs, theme template, and more. Check out the list of features and compare them to the alternatives. It's not even close! ;) __Bottom line:__ both Disable Gutenberg and Classic Editor plugins are lightweight and enable you to replace Gutenberg with the Classic Editor for the entire site. The difference is that Disable Gutenberg also gives you advanced configuration options such as restoring Classic Widgets, controlling block styles, and allowing block editor on certain pages, post types, and so forth. **Can I use this plugin and Classic Editor at the same time?** Yes, if both plugins are active at the same time, Disable Gutenberg gives priority to Classic Editor plugin. So if you want to use Disable Gutenberg, deactivate the Classic Editor plugin (you do not have to remove it, just deactivate via the WP Plugins screen). **Classic Editor planned to expire in 2022, what about Disable Gutenberg?** I can't make any promises, but I intend to develop with WordPress for the long-haul. Who knows what the future holds, but the plan is to keep Disable Gutenberg going for many years to come. Why? Because the original RTE/Visual Editor is awesome. I strongly feel it's one of the many reasons why WordPress has enjoyed its great success. I've been using the original/classic editor for over 10 years now and it's always been 100% smooth experience. I've tried Gutenberg, and yes it is much better now than in previous versions, but for me it's just not as comfortable or streamlined as the classic editor. So yeah, will do everything possible to keep Disable Gutenberg (and the Classic Editor) going well beyond 2022. **Why does Classic Editor plugin have way more users?** Because it is being promoted by the Gutenberg developers and the "official" plugin for replacing Gutenberg. That's fine, but understand that Disable Gutenberg functions the same way AND provides way more features and settings. FWIW, I use Disable Gutenberg on my own sites Perishable Press, DigWP.com, Plugin Planet, and many others. 100% solid. **Template exclusions not working?** In order for template exclusions to work, the template must be registered with the page itself. The only way to do this is via the "Edit Page" screen, in the "Page Attributes" meta box. There you will find an option to set the page template. Remember to save your changes. After assigning some templates, they will be recognized by Disable Gutenberg. So to disable Gutenberg on any registered template, you can add them via the plugin setting, "Disable for Templates". Examples: * Template name is `page-custom.php`, located in the root theme directory: enter `page-custom.php` in the Template Exclusion setting * Template name is `page-custom.php`, located in a subdirectory named `templates`: enter `templates/page-custom.php` **How to disable default Gutenberg frontend styles?** The default Gutenberg/Block styles are disabled by default when DG plugin is active. To enable/disable the styles, visit the plugin setting, "Enable Frontend". **Does this work with full site editing and block themes?** No, because block themes rely on blocks. [See Block themes article](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/block-themes/) for more information. **What does the setting "Display Edit Links" do?** When "Display Edit Links" is enabled in the plugin settings: * On Post, Page, and Custom Post Type __menus__ (in the sidebar), a link is displayed that says "Add New (Classic)". Clicking the link takes the user to the "Add New" screen with the Classic Editor enabled. * On Posts, Pages, and Custom Post Types __screens__ (where lists of posts are displayed), two links are added beneath each post. The first link says "Classic Edit" and takes the user to the "Edit" screen with the Classic Editor enabled. The second link says "Block Edit" and takes the user to the Edit screen with the Block Editor enabled. __Note__ that these links display only on pages where the Block Editor is enabled. So for example, if Gutenberg is disabled sitewide, none of the links will display anywhere. If disabled only on Pages, then the links will not display on the Pages menu or on the Pages screen. **Got a question?** Send any questions or feedback via my [contact form](https://plugin-planet.com/support/#contact) == Changelog == Thank you to everyone for using Disable Gutenberg and for all the [awesome 5-star reviews](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/disable-gutenberg/reviews/)! Strategic advantages concerning https://spin-bets.nz deliver exciting casino game possibilities

The digital landscape of entertainment is constantly evolving, and online casinos are at the forefront of this change. More and more individuals are discovering the convenience and excitement that platforms like https://spin-bets.nz offer. This shift towards online gaming isn’t just about accessibility; it’s also driven by the innovative strategies and advantages these platforms provide to players. Understanding these advantages is key to maximizing enjoyment and potential rewards within the online casino world.

The appeal lies not only in the vast selection of games, ranging from classic slots to live dealer experiences, but also in the strategic elements available. These include various bonus systems, loyalty programs, and responsible gaming tools that enhance the overall experience. Ultimately, platforms are not just about chance; they present opportunities for informed players to navigate a dynamic and rewarding environment. The integration of technology has created a space where entertainment and strategy converge, attracting a diverse audience seeking both thrill and calculated engagement.

Understanding the Appeal of Online Casino Bonuses

One of the most significant strategic advantages offered by online casinos is the abundance of bonuses available to players. These bonuses come in many forms, each designed to incentivize participation and enhance the gaming experience. Welcome bonuses are typically the largest, offered to new players upon their first deposit, often matching a percentage of that deposit and sometimes including free spins on selected slot games. These initial offers provide a substantial boost to a player's bankroll, allowing them to explore a wider range of games and increase their chances of winning. However, it’s crucial to carefully examine the terms and conditions associated with these bonuses, particularly wagering requirements. These requirements dictate how many times a player must wager the bonus amount before they can withdraw any winnings generated from it.

Beyond welcome bonuses, casinos frequently offer reload bonuses, which are designed to reward existing players for making subsequent deposits. These bonuses are generally smaller than welcome bonuses but serve to encourage continued play. Cashback offers are also common, returning a percentage of a player’s losses over a specific period. These can soften the impact of losing streaks and provide additional funds to play with. Furthermore, many casinos implement loyalty programs, awarding players points for every wager they make. These points can then be redeemed for various rewards, such as bonus cash, free spins, or even exclusive access to tournaments and events. Mastering the art of bonus utilization is a cornerstone of successful online casino gameplay.

Maximizing Bonus Value: A Closer Look

To truly capitalize on casino bonuses, a strategic approach is essential. Avoid the temptation to simply accept the largest bonus available. Instead, prioritize bonuses with reasonable wagering requirements. A lower wagering requirement means you'll have a greater likelihood of being able to withdraw your winnings. Consider the games eligible for the bonus; some bonuses are restricted to specific slots or table games. Choosing a bonus that applies to games you already enjoy playing increases your chances of success. Additionally, always read the fine print regarding maximum bet sizes while using bonus funds. Exceeding the maximum bet may void the bonus and any associated winnings. Effective bonus management is about quality over quantity—finding the right bonus for your playing style and maximizing its value through informed decision-making.

Bonus Type Description Typical Wagering Requirement Strategic Considerations
Welcome Bonus Offered to new players upon first deposit 30x – 50x Check game eligibility and maximum bet size.
Reload Bonus Offered to existing players on subsequent deposits 40x – 60x Utilize for games you enjoy and are familiar with.
Cashback Offer Returns a percentage of losses Often low or none A good option for mitigating losses during losing streaks.
Loyalty Program Rewards points for wagers Varies Consistent play is key to maximizing rewards.

Understanding the intricate details of each bonus type allows players to make informed choices, turning seemingly generous offers into genuine strategic advantages. This also embraces a more responsible gaming approach; knowing the conditions creates realistic expectations.

The Role of Responsible Gaming Tools

While the excitement of online casino games is undeniable, it’s crucial to prioritize responsible gaming. Reputable online casinos, like https://spin-bets.nz, provide a suite of tools designed to help players stay in control of their spending and playing habits. These tools are not merely a matter of compliance; they represent a commitment to player well-being and a recognition of the potential risks associated with gambling. One of the most important tools is deposit limits, allowing players to set a maximum amount of money they can deposit into their account over a specific period, such as a day, week, or month. This helps prevent overspending and ensures players stay within their budget. Loss limits function similarly, allowing players to set a maximum amount of money they are willing to lose within a given timeframe.

Self-exclusion is a more drastic measure, allowing players to voluntarily ban themselves from accessing the casino for a predetermined period. This is a valuable option for individuals who feel they are losing control of their gambling habits. Reality checks are another useful feature, prompting players with notifications at regular intervals indicating how long they have been playing and how much money they have spent. This helps maintain awareness of their gaming sessions and prevents them from getting carried away. Timeouts are temporary self-exclusions, allowing players to take a break from gambling for a specified duration, offering a cooling-off period. By actively utilizing these tools, players can enjoy the entertainment of online casinos while mitigating the risks associated with problem gambling. The presence of these features demonstrates a commitment to ethical gaming practices.

Customizing Your Gaming Experience with Limits

The effective use of responsible gaming tools extends beyond simply setting limits. It involves a conscious effort to personalize your gaming experience. Start by honestly assessing your financial situation and determining how much you can comfortably afford to lose. Base your deposit and loss limits on this assessment, ensuring they align with your budget. Don't view these limits as restrictions; instead, see them as responsible safeguards that protect your financial well-being. Utilize reality checks to remain mindful of your playtime and spending. Regularly review your gaming habits and adjust your limits as needed. If you find yourself consistently reaching your limits, it may be a sign that you need to take a break from gambling or seek professional help. Remember, responsible gaming is about maintaining control and enjoying the entertainment in a safe and sustainable manner.

  • Set a budget before you start playing.
  • Utilize deposit and loss limits.
  • Take advantage of reality checks and timeouts.
  • Be aware of the signs of problem gambling.
  • Seek help if you are struggling to control your gambling habits.

A proactive approach to responsible gaming empowers players to enjoy the benefits of online casinos without jeopardizing their financial or emotional well-being.

Understanding Random Number Generators (RNGs) and Fairness

A critical component of ensuring a fair and transparent online casino experience is the use of Random Number Generators (RNGs). At their core, RNGs are algorithms designed to produce sequences of numbers that are statistically random. These numbers determine the outcome of each game, from the spin of a slot machine reel to the dealing of a card in blackjack. Without a properly functioning RNG, the results of casino games could be predictable or manipulated, undermining the integrity of the entire system. Reputable online casinos employ RNGs that are independently tested and certified by third-party organizations like eCOGRA (eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance). These organizations rigorously audit the RNGs to ensure they meet strict standards of randomness and fairness.

The certifications provided by these organizations serve as a seal of approval, assuring players that the games are genuinely random and unbiased. It's important to look for these certifications when choosing an online casino. Beyond RNG testing, casinos are also subject to regulatory oversight by licensing authorities, who impose strict rules and regulations regarding game fairness and player protection. These regulations often include requirements for regular audits of casino software and financial transactions. Transparency is also key; casinos should clearly display information about their RNGs and licensing credentials on their websites. Understanding how RNGs work and the measures in place to ensure fairness empowers players to make informed decisions and enjoy a secure gaming experience.

  1. Choose casinos with certified RNGs.
  2. Look for licensing from reputable authorities.
  3. Read the casino's terms and conditions carefully.
  4. Research the casino's reputation online.
  5. Contact customer support if you have any concerns.

Prioritizing casinos with robust security measures and a commitment to fairness is paramount to a positive and trustworthy online gaming experience.

The Evolution of Mobile Casino Gaming

The rise of mobile technology has profoundly impacted the online casino industry, leading to a surge in mobile casino gaming. Players now have the ability to access their favorite casino games anytime, anywhere, through dedicated mobile apps or optimized mobile websites. This convenience has opened up the market to a wider audience and significantly increased the accessibility of online gaming. The quality of mobile casino games has also improved dramatically, with developers creating visually stunning and immersive experiences that rival those found on desktop computers. Mobile casinos often offer a streamlined user interface, designed for smaller screens and touch-based controls. Furthermore, many mobile casinos offer exclusive bonuses and promotions tailored specifically to mobile players.

The development of HTML5 technology has been instrumental in the growth of mobile casinos. HTML5 allows games to be played directly in a web browser without the need for downloading any additional software, making the experience seamless and convenient. The integration of mobile payment options, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, has further enhanced the mobile gaming experience, allowing players to deposit and withdraw funds quickly and easily. As mobile technology continues to evolve, we can expect even more innovation in the mobile casino space, including the integration of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies. The future of online casino gaming is undoubtedly mobile, offering players unprecedented levels of convenience and entertainment.

Navigating the Future Landscape of Online Casinos

The online casino space is not static; it’s a constantly evolving ecosystem shaped by technological advancements and shifting player preferences. One emerging trend is the integration of blockchain technology, offering enhanced security, transparency, and potentially faster payouts. Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are becoming increasingly accepted at online casinos, providing players with an alternative to traditional payment methods. The metaverse is also poised to disrupt the industry, with virtual casinos offering immersive and social gaming experiences. Artificial intelligence (AI) is being used to personalize the gaming experience, providing tailored recommendations and enhancing customer support. These advancements promise to create a more engaging, secure, and personalized online casino environment.

However, with these innovations come new challenges. Regulation will need to adapt to keep pace with the changing landscape, ensuring player protection and preventing illicit activities. Responsible gaming initiatives must also evolve to address the potential risks associated with new technologies, such as the addictive nature of immersive virtual environments. The continued focus on innovation, coupled with a commitment to responsible gaming and robust regulation, will be crucial to shaping a sustainable and thriving future for the online casino industry, continuing to provide exciting and strategic game possibilities for players worldwide, beyond platforms like https://spin-bets.nz.
